It's the best 50cc engine on the market IMO. I've tried more than a few others and none have matched the Taurus on stock or Pitts mufflers. Starts easy, pulls strong, never falters, not the lightest but definately not the heaviest, smoooooth running, and ultra reliable. You pay about equal to a DA but you generally never have to send one back. Unless you hit the ground with one there's nothing that needs any support. Even the carbs still have the model number on them so you can buy Walbro repair kits when needed. I can afford any engine I want so cost has not been a factor in my engine decisions. Performance and reliability are what makes the finish line for me and Taurus crosses the 50cc line ahead of them all in nearly every category.
