not trying to be a smart azz but hitec makes some of the worst servo's and radio's in the business. futaba makes a good entry level 2.4ghz radio at a good price. i only run JR servo's. some guys swear but hitec servos. but i never ubderstood buying lowe end servo's for an expensive big rc gas boat.
Huh, I have been using Hitec radios and servos for years in various setups- from boats to cars to planes- both nitro and electric and have NEVER had an issue with anything that can be blamed on the fact that it is a "hitec" product.
