I'm sure you could do like some people do to the picco carbs (seal them) and the Go tech carb be just fine.

True, but I hate spending 200 bucks just to have to smear sealant all over my carb, I don't understand why they don't fix it. My sirio carb is perfect no leaks no sealant.
