Default RE: Has Anyone Converted A Plastic Model To R/C?

Thanks bobslr, it was yours that gave me the idea.
frogprince, I used to live in Hong Kong. In fact I bought my first Yamato there, in a little shop on Waterloo road, Kowloon, just before it crosses Nathan road. Just watched the youtube link. Man that thing is fast? I have 2 more 1/72 E-boats ( 1 Revell and 1 Airfix) and the Airfix Vosper MTB. I built the 1/72 Revell PT-109 (but will be building another) a bunch of years ago and even managed to squeeze 3 motors inside it. Don't you just love the challenge? I was dared to try to get smaller by my friends in Colorado Springs about 10 years ago so came back with the Revell 1/125th ( I think) U-505 fully submersible. That one was hard.
