Well, that's funny! Not really knowing, I would guess this should be no problem at all, though.
The Taurus has those "superformed leading edges" made of especially light balsa. I think you could even omit the spars and replace them by strips of hard balsa sheeting - if only suitable shear webs are used. The hard strips could be tapered from root to tip, and the shear webs could have gaps near the wingtips - both for ultimate lightness and low moment of inertia. This would still make for a strong I-beam (bending) and a full D-tube (torsion).
But it would be a different Taurus, or what do you think?
