Only time will tell. Until then the cheapest will be the most desirable for those on a tight budget while the manufacturers of high quality products tighten their belts, lay off employees, and eat beans for awhile.

Another downside is that those manufacturers that have continually been sponsoring contests and events will eventually be forced to discontinue those perks. You don't see the budget manufacturers providing products at those events.
