is there any adabter or anything i could make it work cause holes r about a quarter of an inch bigger in the .26. but they are the same distance from top to bottom
Thats like sticking a 4 cylinder car engine into a one ton truck chassis... Sure its "possible" but its certainly not practical.
Even if you managed to fit the .18 TZ on an 1/8th scale MBX R-2 chassis, IMO you'd be quickly disappointed, specially with the bottom end accelleration.
At minimum, you want a .21 CI motor for that 1/8th scale application.

Actually with some work and testing it works very well. Chad Phillips ran a .18TZ in a Losi at the Tiltyard and kicked pretty much everyones butt with it.
If it's actually worth the time and money to do it is another story.
