Default RE: is this ok?

Rcdogfighter,

That is not a choice that is easy to have success with. There are better and cheaper choices. You might consider a basic .40 size trainer. It will have major advantages over the Mustang you like.
Some of the good things a trainer will give you:
1. Go slow enough for your stick inputs to catch up with the plane.
2. Will right itself into level flight if control sticks are let go.
3. Will float slow and gently into a landing when throttle is cut to idle.

It of course is your choice and really none of my business. I had this conversation with a new guy at my club this summer. He wouldn't listen, and argued with me that the H9 Mustang was the way for him to go. I pointed out the obvious differences and he only had tunnel vision on that H9 Mustang. He bought himself one and crashed it and destroyed it on his first attempt to solo it. He then bought himself a trainer and is doing very well flying it.

Good luck with your choice. What ever you do please concider a club with a seasoned instructor.
