I have used this super cub with a friend and it is a very good first plane. He thought he could just go out and fly it on his own , but it broke it in two. Then I helped him fly it a couple of times and he got along great with it after that .

One guy posted he learned to fly with the super cub, but he went through four of them to do it. He live out where there was not help to be had, ya got to do what ya got to do. But if you can get some help , please do it. It will save you time and money.
