Regarding the incidence problem:
I've heard of one or two flying with up elevator in the UK (Wing L/E's DOWN by .5-1deg). Check/ measure the stab/ wing incidences carefully. If they're out, you have two-three choices: (in order of preference)
1. Contact the supplier and see if they will replace the kit as it's not right;
2. Adjust the wing incidences by elongating the fuz holes and then reinforcing with ply/ carbon washers; and
3. Fly/ trim as it is, though it'll not be perfectly trimmed for all manoeuvres.
The supplier SHOULD be understanding if the kit is proven to be incorrect.
Let us know.....................You're not alone!
I have been in touch with the importer who has agreed to send me another kit. Not sure if it will be just the fuse and stab or the whole kit (which would be nice). This time I will measure the incidences before gluing the stab in place. I am pretty sure that it was the stab cutout that is off. If needed I will recut the stab cutout and recover the area before mounting the stab.
I haven't heard that it has been shipped to me yet but I will report when I get it so people will know if they stand behind their product or not.
