Default RE: King Motors Baja Review with pictures

buggger man i feel your pain, thats got to hurt, !

i hope the baja will make a quick recovery ?

so i thought ill post a youtube link for you to watch as it might make your feel better and give you a laugh

i was driving my baja yesterday, with the black body as in the above post, with a friend and his baja.

I was trying to tune my baja to make it a little more grunty, as the engine is still being running in and it was my first real tweek form factory settings, the 26cc sikk enigne has done less then 3 tanks and every time i use it it getts better, but watch what happend

any way watch the vid keep watching after the screan goes blank but ill warn you these it a couple of swear words in the vid

tomorow when i get home ill post some pictures up of a km engine that we done one tank of gental driving piston pin bearing flew to bits.

the engine was not even 2 tanks old and the carb was set to factory settings, my poor mate i brought a baja for him.

It finaly gets here befor its even run, it has a crack in the body, missing, a km chrome pipe, a fairly bent frount shockie its missing a radio battery cover, lucky i had a pipe and we fixed the shockie,

The baja it wouldnt start, the carb was way out of tune after a retuning back to factory settings and after running one tank we filled its second tank up, it ran for 30 seconds made a funny noise a died.

So we pulled the engine down and there was a few fualts with it

carb bolts to long, but still ran suprisingly,

loose bearings in the crank shaft,

rust on the crank shaft and the seals where gone on the crank case on the clutch slide,

pluss a few others looks like kingmotors have changes engines as they are a 2 sided crank case with a built in clutch houseing

not a 2 side crank case with a seperate clutch houseing, like the cy enignes like all the others im still trying to find out twhat the go is there.

i have a heap of pictures of the engines an its insides (stuffed)

i feel so sorry for my mate as he payed 800 aud for it with a pipe, but ened up getting a baja missing a pipe ( luck i had a new one spare), bent front shock and a missing radio battery cover and a small crack in the boddy, so we fix all this and now after one tank of fule yesterday the engines flys to bits.

so we feel your pain Obeast44 as i think me and my mate are in the same boat, i wish the baja was run over by a car, as it would be easyer to explan and i realy feel for my mate as im pissed off and a little agry so i know he must be well pissed as 800 bucks for a lemon.
