I have some info about the gears, according to HIMOTO, there are and never were metal gears, lol. I have to look thru the rc room because i can swear i have a metal gear setup that looks like what you posted. what kind of spyder gears were with that setup? Could you take a picture in the diff housing?
I'll post some pics of the diff gear assembly broke down in pieces. There were no spider gears in the metal diffs. You are talking about the metal gear setup right?
