A friend also had the previously mentioned Ace Taylor Craft, which is larger/heavier than yours. His was powered by a G-62.

The Ace T-craft has a substantially more robust airframe, than the H-9. The airframe was also reinforced to handle the larger motor.

In my opinion, the model did not fly well. In fact, it flew so poorly, it came apart in the air.

I do not recommend this combination.
