ok Tom, I really wanted the fromeco Sahara reggs but TBM didnt have any in stock, but Ill keep a close eye on the MPI's till i gan can get some Fromecos, what other good regs. do you recomend? Some time its hard to get RC stuff here in Honduras we mostly get things when one of us or family go to US. I have 1 of the Regs. Hooked directly like you said and the other Y'ed in with the chock servo, so I have them just behind the receiver as u can see in the pics,I dont even know if the mouting metod is correct since these are my fist regs i ever use, I have them on a piece if foam with velcro, the foam is only touching the black part of the reg wich leaves the Heat Sink in the air not touching anything, i guess thats a logic part to make the Heat sink not touch anything. As for the batts I would like to put them right behind the wing tube, but before that I have to put the wings on and check the balance. I'm new to the 2.4ghz system wich claims to have no Interfarence with bats or regs close to the Rx but I want to be sure what I'm doing and get some advice before I go and loose the plane for some simple thing.
Keeping in mind what you said wich is true about the voltage is why Im changing the bats, cause I was using 2 Jr 4.8v 4500 Mah batts, and by reading about people having lockouts with low voltage is why i decided, and also with the lockout voltage being some like 3.5 volts or so just got me scared or those 4.8volts, which for that plane to run down 9000mah is alot of flying but things happen. besides they are very heavy batts. what would you prefer the NimH's or the Li Ions with regs??
