Zippi, the top left blind nut as you sitting in the cockpit has to have the flange trimmed (notched) in order to clear one of the stringers. That is why I liked adding the hatch in the bottom of the fuselage behind the firewall. It made working behind the firewall and installing the ignition so much easier. My stock engine came with the black choke knob and when it came back from Ralph it was missing. Ralph said he would send it to me but I haven't recieved it yet. I typically just kind of partially block the verturi when I start the engine and use my thumb as the chock. I can usually completely remove my thumb/chock within a few seconds.

Eric I like all the harware upgrades on your plane. I have all the stock stuff on. So did your bird come apart even with the upgraded hardware? Did you have gidewires on the horizontal stabilizer when it came apart. I am also curious if you strenghtened the area on the fuselage where the wing struts bolt in? The other guy in my club that flys a Rascal says this area is a common point of failure.
