I had one of these until a mid air RIP. The elevator pushrod that mine had was fine. Assuming they didn't change the pushrod during a later production run yours should be fine too.

The plane does have a habbit of snapping with too much elevator, it can be a very scary thing if you're not expecting it.

Next time you're out flying try going straight and level at 1/2 throttle (up high) and yanking full elevator and you'll see what I mean.

The plane is notorius for this, otherwise a great plane.
