The Marutaka Corsair is an F4U-1D. You have almost no carving of blocks on the Corsair. Some others like the Mustang use blocks extensively. Check my web site for instructions and lots of pictures as I build mine, I think all of your questions will be answered. On the Corsair if you have questions about how to do something like a control hook up just check the TF web site, they have their Corsair manual on line.
