RE: The Official Traxxas Slash short-course race truck
I got my power upgrade done today. Quark 65A brushless esc, VXL motor, 2s A123, and 3s A123.
Using stock pinion and running very cool to the touch. It was a cool night (47F) when I ran it however. No wheelies, but thats ok by me. No cogging. I am very pleased with the setup and the programing of the esc.
I'll get some pic's when I figure out a mount for the esc. It's hanging loose in there.
Does anyone know how many volts the VXL motor can take? I know the VXL system is 3s, but I cant find anything showing just the motors limits. My esc can go 6s, so I was wondering if I could push more volts into the motor.
