Your best bet is to either wait until your friend gets out of the hospital or seek help from an RC club in your Area.
If you read through the various PTS threads, good and bad, you will gain alot of knowledge and you will find that most people will at least agree that it is not a do it yourself airplane.
I am a bit confused though.
The P-51 PTS is a 40 size plane, you have an EVO 100 in it? Or are they making them bigger now?
