RE: Difference between 9CAP and 9C Super
KBaily45,
I have a 9CAP and feel and find it to be more radio than I will ever need. I beleve the 9CAPS has the synthesized module that will allow you to change frequencies easily on the transmitter. There are probably some programming enhancements thrown in as well.plus a larger model memory. If I might make a suggestion. Take a look at the Futaba 2.4 GHZ radios. Since your looking at gas with spark ignition the risk of radio interference is less with the 2.4 GHZ systems. I have witnessed this at our flying site. I know the PCM systems are a far cry above the FM systems in respect to suseptbility to radio interference. The Futaba 10 & 12 channel 2.4 systems offer a high degree of programming as well. Why not purchase the latest technology and get all the advantages as well. It's really great not to worry about someone turnig on their radio on your channel. Although there is nothing wrong with PCM technology and many R/Cers feel there is no need to change from what they have. However, if you are buying a new system, 2.4 GHZ you will not be dissapointed with or sacrifice any features available with PCM.
I hope this has been helpful, I'm sure others will add their thoughts also.
Good luck and let us know what the end result is.
