Better to obtain another cowl. The bodywork for the repairs would be adding a lot of weight to the plane. The firewall would be good if backed up with some 1/8" sheet ply. The glass might hold it but it would be a lot more secure with something other than the glass holding it all together. Mount the engine up and run it on the ground to see what you see and decide from there.

I hit a soccor goal once flying at a high school but your vollyball net takes the cake. Pretty funny when you think about it
