i would say fly the GP PT-40 trainer and get used to it. when you can fly it inverted, and figure 8's and keep it going in all directions/orientations without losing it you will be doing good.


but i still will suggest that you find a club and an instructor as the flight sim can teach you bad habits that will come back to haunt you later in flying, where an instructor will also help to teach tuning, set-up and so on.

plus your instructor will more than likely become a good friend as mine did and so many others. so you also get a flying buddy out the deal .
