RE: hobbico nexstar 46
My first plane was a Nexstar, which I sold cheaply due to car repairs. The next Spring, I purchased a used Superstar to get going again. I actually liked the Nexstar better, because it was a bit more sensitive and crisp. The Superstar felt a bit mushy, but was also slower and more stable, with steeper approaches on landing as opposed to the Nexstar's cleaner airframe. When you remove the training aids from the Nexstar, it becomes quite agile for a trainer.
