I roll a Hyper 7 still. The buggy has all of the fundamentals required for a good track and basher car. Also, if you look at the HB D8 that took the Worlds, it really is more of a traditional buggy like a Hyper 7. Bottom line, it is 95% driver. I bet top drivers could win big races with a Hyper 7 if they ran it. There just hasn't been that significance of change in the buggies in the last few years to say that the Hyper 7 is outdated.
