Dumping the flaperon feature
ecajberry - I just went through exactly the same thing setting up my plane. I have two JR computer radios, an X-347 and a 642. I had no trouble setting this up on my 347, but couldn't make it happen on the 642. The 347 has a 3 position flap switch and a rotary knob, whereas the 642 has a 2 position switch only. They program differently too. My 347's internal memory battery died so I am going to have to send it in which is why I've reverted to the simpler 642. While it's by no means a bad radio, it's not the "Cadillac" the X-347 is - it's got more switches, knobs and features than a human being could ever use! I guess you gets what you pay for.
