Default Viper Problems

Ok so after replacing the clutch shoes I still have the same issues.

My viper seems to not have the top speed it used to - I can give it full throttle and it takes a while to get up to speed some sometimes it just sorta drives but is still revving quite high but if I hit a jump or bump the car revs out and my car takes off.

At first I thought it may be the clutch since it doesent seem to have much power or really spin the wheels al low speeds it just kinda drives away.

After replacing the clutch I have exactly the same problem, low power and low top speed. I took my engine back to base settings and tuned it again from there - still same problem.

The Spur gear seems to be pressed up againsed another geat via a spring and nut - This may be slipping, I was thinking of making a whole new gear out of some kind of nylon or steel (My mate is an engineer and says he can do it)

What do you guys think the problem is?
