There should be no reason why you can't buy a HL electronics package , a set of gearboxes (check Wacky's build for which version) a set of Tiger drive sprockets, about three / four lengths of Tiger track, and away you go. Not a 100% perfect solution, but I'm sure you'd enjoy the challenge.
