Default RE: Tsunami Build Thread

Hey David better decision couldn't have been taken , good for the YS 45 you will love it [sm=thumbs_up.gif].

Ok , this is my setup on the YS 45

Header length ===> 4-1/4 " ( from glow plug to the end of the header )
Glow plug ======> O.S. R5
Fuel =========> Power Master 10 %
Prop =========> 10x7 APC
RPM =========> 15,000
Pipe =========> 7.5 cc quiet pipe (Macs)

Just as a reference YS factory recommend you use 20% nitro and says that YS engines are designed to use tuned pipes system for a better performance that is completely correct , but when I did the break in I used 10% nitro and I've never changed the fuel "probably" due that the engine is running ok .... the engine is running with lack of nitro though and it seems that I'm the only on the field who can use 10% , the rest of the people just can't use 10 % with good results , they NEED to use 20% nitro or the engine doesn't run properly . Take this on consideration , this engine is plaintiff of nitro .

Just other thing to keep on mind if you will end up with full pipe wich I really recommend you is my header's length was tunned for a 10x7 prop , if you are going to use 11x7 the measurement might be longer for the extra load that will produce the 11" prop ( bwt I think this is other reason wich probably will make you stick with 20% nitro ) just take your time to tuned properly .

And for sure I guess your Tsunami will break the 100 kph easy [8D].

David , is you mini pipe made it with mousse can ??? its looks like .

Ohh yess that Mig-29 is beautiful but unfortunately is out of my reach
