The "Pink" Omega fuel has castor in it.

Castor forms a blackish varnish. This varnish has a tendancy to soften at high temperatures so it acts to protect the engine.

It may sludge up the carb barrel, especially if the carb got hot enough to form the varnish.

As suggested cleaning the carb should help greatly.
