I heard that Lawton was actually a suburb of Roswell. Is that right, Ken?
When I lived in Roswell prior to 1993, there were no suburbs. A couple towns that are fairly close include Dexter, Lake Arthor, and Hagerman. I wish I could have bought a house there, back around the early 1980s. You could buy one at the RIAC for less than $15,000.00. Last I checked, the median home price in the vicinity is roughly $180,000.00. Not a bad investment, if you could secure financing.
