I just made a faomy, the 'Nasty" from rc group plans for free!. My mom wont let me spend anymore than 30 dollars so I am improvising. The plane has a 38in wing span and I recently retired a parkflyer with a 45in wing span. I want to use the motor and batt from that so I can get a new servo and some other stuff. The motor is a 280 with a 2.5:1 gear ratio and the batt is an 8 cell 9.6v 650mah. I know the motor and batt are sub par for 3D but Im gonna give it a try. It most likely wont hover or anything but hopefully I can fly it around. I was wondering 1: will it fly 2: what prop, tha plans say a 11-12in prop, was thinking 11x5.5?
