Minimum torque 175oz and 200oz is better speed of .13 or better. If you are running a radio with EPA go digital.

I think that is a bit high for minimum torque . I`ve been running 125 oz servo the past few years in my 8ight and does quite well . But to each is own.
Have you tried a higher torque servo? I have tried servos with around 125oz in my Hyper 8 and when I built my Hyper8.5 put the 200oz servo and it made a BIG difference!!!!!!!! Yes I think anything over 200oz is over kill and all so puts a bigger strain on your receiver pack. I guess if all a person does is bash does not matter but for racing makes a BIG difference.
I race all time with the 8711 in without any problems. Which I always put in a fresh batt before every race
