Default RE: Charlie Kellogg's TBM Avenger Build

Well, today the wind picked up alot and it got tooooo cold to sit outside and sand. I need the ventilation unless I wear a mask inside. I don't like the mask. So I worked alittle more and then went inside to work on the Avenger. I had to figure out a way to insert the 1/16" wire through both halves of the elevator. I decided to do separate hinges. I will anchor the wire hinges for each elevator half in the elevator tips as the photos show. After covering the elevators and glassing the stab, I'll hinge the two and put a plug in the holes where the hinge endings are showing. Then cover the plug area, primer and its all ready to paint. Photos also show the 1 oz weights in the stab tips for counterbalance. Chic
