Thanks for clearing up the thrust line confusion. As I said in post 7330 - "Some of the same planes and the SREs also appear to have a bit of down thrust but it is a bit hard to tell, especially those Wacos with Ring Cowls (attached to the cylinder heads)." It goes to prove that you can't always trust what you see especially in photos. The angle of the photo, light, the shape of the object can all fool the eye into seeing something that is not there.
