Default RE: Re-Introduction to Aeromodelling!

Welcome aboard. I remimber my first plane about 25 years ago. It was a foam Cessna with an Enya .15 engine and a three channel radio. My dad bought it for me because I nagged him to death about it. He gave it to me and told me to go learn to fly it. So that is what I did, I taught myself to fly with plenty of problems along the way. The plane is long gone but I still have the engine. Still to this day I fly by myself. I probably would not mind the friendships that develop at a flying field, I just can not stand to wait my turn to fly. I like to load all of my stuff up and go fly as much as I want without having to wait on a channel to free up. I came to fly not to wait my turn to fly. Those are my thoughts on a club, good for friendships but not for alot of flying time.
