Default RE: MLD-28 gasoline engine

ORIGINAL: 3dsky

Just received my MLD 28S form CERMARK and out of the box I am getting 8500 RPM on a wood 16 X 10 and the engine runs great. Over all quality is much better than other engines in its class. Starts easy and runs strong even in the midrange. I hope to get some more time on it this week and report some RPM/prop numbers.

Man, that sounds pretty good!! What plane are you going to put it in? It seems like the selection of airframes that fit this engine is kind of slim. I am looking at the Aeroworks YAK 90-120 for just this same engine. I have heard on another thread that this is a good combo.
