I purchased my first Airplane the other day off of craigslist. It came with an old OS MAX 35 engine and I cannot find any literature on it anywhere. I think that the carb is stuck as I dont see how it works. Does anyone have any information on this engine?? Everything from how to tune it to how to rebuild it???
The barrel valve on the carb does not open when I turn the throttle lever... is it supposed to??
I had an old OS .35 Max-H that was missing the muffler. I posted a question here looking for a muffler and someone advised me to look at [link=http://www.osengines.com/history/engines-wanted.html]this site[/link] and see if OS wanted my old engine for their collection. As it turned out they did! They sent me a brand new OS .46 AX in trade for my old engine and my problem was solved
So unless you are a collector yourself you may want to see what they can do for you.
