I eventually fitted the ducted fan unit with 2 screws through the skirt of the fan onto the engine mount. The Cof G was not a problem. The Lingcat actually takes off and flies very well and is very quick. The only weak point is the engine mount to the fuselage that broke cleanly from the ply mounting piece. Put the fan on and let it go and have fun.
