The field is where the club "BARKS" (Bakersfield Airplane Radio Control Society) flys. You have to be a member of there club to fly there. It is a AMA sanctioned field so to speak so AMA rules apply. They just happen to use a paved runway of an old airport as the field. Does that clear things up?
