Wow. I have not been around in a while and here we are 23 pages later. I just wanted to update my experience with the monsoon. You got to keep all the metal parts coated with wd 40 as the surface rust can form on this truggy. The finish should be more corrosion resistant as my other rc stuff is fine. Also I had the needle for the idle speed have its tip break off during running locking the carb wide open throttle. I did quite a few burnouts before the truggy flipped on its lid and died out. Not the best feeling. I would recommend using a radio with end point adjustments to limit the travel of the servo to prevent excessive load on the idle speed needle during wide open throttle with the carb slide. Other than that and checking tightness of all screws and nuts and bolts...it with the 12 tooth is a nice rocket!
