Jim & CP, I'm sorry I have not replied to your posts sooner, but I have been "down" for awhile. I got things up and running now, so to answer your posts: First, CP, I returned the 28/40 V-2 motor, it just did not have any real "poop". ....Jim, It could be our radar gun is out-of-whack. Also, we were not doing a true fast fly by, straight and level, but rather "diving" with a 25 mph tail wind! (it was howling that day steady 25-30 mph.. I thought we were insane when we went to fly that day, but heck, the plane doesn't know its windy!), so that could be why we were reading way fast on the radar.It's amazing, the FJ doesn't care if its windy! Also, I have tried the apc props in the 4 to 6 PITCH range, but they just don't seem to "have it" ...Have you guys tried the apc 5.7x3 ?? (with Mega 16/15/2 on 25c 3300 mah lipo)! This prop seems to REALLY push the FJ! i KNOW 3 pitch does not seem like it will do much, but it is awesome for speed & vertical! Also, when I hand launch my FJ, I am ONLY AT 1/3 POWER, AND IT DOES NOT ROLL LEFT FROM THE TORQUE! THERE IS NO NEED TO GO FULL THROTTLE! With the 5.7x3 it has plenty of pull away from you, and if you need to make some elevon correction, you can at the lower speed. I NEVER HAVE LAUNCHED MINE AT FULL THROTTLE! No need to with the pull i get from the 5.7X3.....Thanks for listening, Paul
