What alum parts are you looking for? Depending on the parts you might want to stay with plastic since it flexes and doesnt bend like the alloy will. As for the slayer, I just read an article in RC Driver about the suspension and some suggestions on how to make it handle better. Seems to be exactly what you just described. You might want to check it out. The slayer is 1/8th or 1/10th? Oh and welcome aboard!
