Mark,
No, What if...? stuff on this one. It just looks cool.
Jeff-Michael, can I have yours.

As posted earlier, control of the heli on the tiny little MCX, comes totally from the lower blades. The only thing, "Maybe", is that it pushes more air. Depending on angel of attack. Hmmm, think about that for awhile.
Well, I'm off, I better wax / polish the blades on my MCX or
Jeff-Michael will be in a termoil.

J-M, those paddle weights are actually E-Flight? All things being equal, they had to at the very least absorb the tooling cost for that look. I guess there will always be a market for anomalies (I learned to spell that yesterday) like that but . . . why? Looking at the 'paddle' there's not much aero surface to it. It's sort of pudgy to be a control surface so I'm thinking that it's neutered and will have only aesthetic value.
I just got it, didn't I? There's been a ton of money spent for a unique look and there ya go - a gizmo! It's not bling, but it is certainly a Farkle!
Like Dave said, Ya don't use paddles on coaxial helicopters. But there is a side of me that wonders; "What if . . .?" I'm just sayin, ya know?
