RE: First Glider?
I agree w/Murdoc, the Multiplex EasyStar would be an excellent choice for a first time glider. My girlfriend has two Mulitplex herself (MiniMag & AcroMaster) and they are very tough to beat up. One thing to note (of which I'm sure you are aware of), if you want to avoid the hassle of setting up a winch system or a hi-start for gliding, the powered ones are the way to go for starters.
