Sounds cool to me.
I have plans for a boat project:
I have drawings (from Glen-L) of a 11 foot flat-V speed boat, made for 20-35 HP outboard.
I plan to scale down these plans to 50%, and make an RC boat 5,5 feet, but big enough to take one passenger (one of my sons at the time, they are 5 and 7 years old).
So I might need some good tips about powering this boat. Maybe a slow electric motor (2000 rpm) or maybe a Honda GX 31 four-stroke gasoline (7000 rpm).
I also need axle, prop etc.. so... good tips are extremely welcome.
To get an idea: check out glen-l boatplans on the net (
www.glen-l.com) , name of the boat is TNT, imagine this one in 50% scale... sounds like fun to me..
