RE: 1/4 Scale F4U-1A Don Smith Plans Build
There in and I like em. It took 3 weeks talking to Darrell about how he wanted them but he finally approved. Here they are in all their glory. I'm waiting on ribs to use as doublers and then there will be hardwood triangular stock under them. Obviously the doublers will go on the outsides of ribs 6 and 7 on both side of the wing. Since the wing's center section that 65" will be permanently attached to the fuselage I had to mount the servo and valve out side of the fuse area so I can use an access hatch to get to it. Now I'm waiting on the 8" wheels from Darrell.
