Default RE: 1/4 Scale F4U-1A Don Smith Plans Build

I am using 2.4 with this expensive of a plane. I just haven't figured out which JR radio to go with yet. David, it's nice to have you back. Since my last post of pictures I changed the bolts and nut around on the scizzors that allowed me 3/8" more clearence. So I removed the back screws and raised it up. with the new tilt I think I moved the axle forward about 1" or more by the time the 3/8 is multiplied by the distance from the bottom to the top which is 11 3/4". Now it is a lot closer to being scale with the axle at lease close to the LE once I finish sand it that is. Here is a picture of one tilted forward and done and the one in the background where they were. The next is with them both tilted forward. All that left is to put in screws and after testing the wheel fit which will be a piece of cake now I can epoxy everything in place along with the rib doublers and triangular stock.
