I am redoing a plane I got in a raffle.
I have absolutely no idea what it is.
It is has a low tapered wing with tricycle gear and is about a 40 size.

Whoever put it together did not properly taper the stab TE and elevator LE.
Consequently, the deflection of the elevator is restricted.
The elevator is attached with real hingers (Robart?) and is nicely pinned.
I would like to avoid cutting them and rehinging. If I do I'll probably use CA hinges.
Both pieces are solid balsa about 3/16" thick.
Any suggestions on how to get more travel?
