after seeing the pictures at the beginning of this thread I wouldn’t fly this, main spar which connects the wings in the middle should be of ply wood minimum if not aluminum tube, and if its aluminum tube see where its being held.

Balsa spar is good for trainers or light airplanes not for something like 10-15 lb.

Your plane, your motor and radio system, your friends around.

you drive a car and get a flat tire and stop the car.
Mistake of first order happened because you didn’t know that you can get a flat tire.

Then you decide to continue to drive the car with the flat tire.
That was mistake of second order, you knew that there is a problem but you choose to ignore it.

What is the difference? If you stopped to fix the flat tire you continue to drive normally, if you driving with the flat tire you can cause an accident.
