Default RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

Tuff question. The answer is....it depends. Most people are pefectly happy running the suggested motor. Others feel the need to over power the plane. It all depends on what you plan on doing with the plane, and your flying experience. I plan on using a Saito 100 because it is the same weight as a OS .70 (engine used in the manual), I tend to fly heavy 3D, and I know how to use the left stick. Your mileage may very.

Some on here will say the Saito 100 is way over kill. That is their opinion and good for them. I on the other hand don't really care what others think or say. I have the 100 on hand, and I will be using it. There is already one report that the 100 is awesome on this air frame. I had the 100 on the big UCD and I thought it was lacking in power a tad. But, as I said, that is my opinion.

Now, to your question, I think the 80 is a bit more weight than the 100 due to the older design. I may be wrong, but if I had a choice between the 80 and the 61 FX, I'd go 61 FX. That once again is my opinion.

Take care......
